The Angel of the LORD in Exodus (The Trinity in Jewish and Christian Scripture, Part 6)

This is Part 6 of “The Trinity in Jewish and Christian Scripture.”

Through its discussion of the Angel of the LORD who appears to Moses, the book of Exodus, like the book of Genesis, teaches that there is a plurality of persons in the Godhead, a plurality of divine persons who effected Israel’s redemption from Egypt, and through that redemption made themselves known to Israel as the God of their fathers. The God of the patriarchs, the God of Israel, is multi-personal. He is not now, and never has been, a unitarian being. Anthony Rogers examines the evidence.
