Gillette's "We Believe" Toxic Masculinity Video Trolled by Imam Tawhidi!

Gillette recently posted a short film titled “We Believe: The Best Men Can Be.” This Gillette commercial promotes anti-bullying and anti-harassment movements and draws inspiration from the “Me Too” campaign. While social justice warriors (SJWs) and feminists are cheering Gillette’s condemnation of “toxic masculinity,” critics point out that the commercial is yet another attack on manhood and masculine traits. In an interesting tweet, Imam Tawhidi blasts the video for not targeting the most notorious source of toxic masculinity. David Wood discusses the issue.

Here’s Gillette’s video description:

“Bullying. Harassment. Is this the best a man can get? It’s only by challenging ourselves to do more, that we can get closer to our best. To say the right thing, to act the right way. We are taking action at http://www.thebestmencanbe.org. Join us.”
