According to popular Muslim speaker Shabir Ally, the Gospel of John refers to Jesus in chapter 16, verse 7, where Jesus says, “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.” Notice that Jesus says, “I will send Him.” Muslims believe that Muhammad was sent by Allah, but the Comforter is sent by Jesus.
